General Electric IC693CBL313 I/O RACK EXPANSION CABLE

The GE Fanuc IC693CBL313 is an I/O bus expansion cable. This is one part number of a family of bus expansion cables, also known as “Wye cables”. Others include the IC693CBL300, 301, 312 and 314. I/O bus expansion cables have a 25-pin D connector on both ends. On one end, it is a single male connector while the other end is a two-headed connector – one male and one female. The IC693CBL313 cable is 25 foot long – approximately 8 meters. The purpose of I/O Bus expansion cables is to extend the I/O bus to either expansion or remote baseplates in a Series 90-30 I/O system. Cables are used when additional I/O slots are needed or baseplates are required at a distance from the CPU baseplate.
