To install the GDE, look in the directory where you installed the programmer and you will find a subdirectory named “EGD Installs”. In that directory, you will find a file named “EgdGenericEditorSetup.msi”. Double-click on this file to install the EGD Generic Device Editor.

Installing the EGD Generic Device Editor adds it to the Start – Programs menu of the computer’s Windows system. You will find it under Programs - GE Industrial Systems-EGD Generic Editor.
